WHO PROVIDES THE CONTENT?

Ink Publishing & Design can provide all of the content or some of the content or none of the content. The point is, if writing content is not in your wheelhouse, don’t let that stop you from getting started on your own magazine. We got you covered. If you like to write, terrific. If you like to write, but don’t want to create all of the content, terrific. We will contribute as much as needed to fill out your publication. If you don’t want to write any of the content, terrific. We’ll supply all of the content.

Can I write my own content?

You bet. You can write some of it or all of it. Your choice.

Who decides what content is included?

Our partners always control 100% of the content choices for their magazines. Each issue will always include specific information about your company as well as have a cover custom designed with your Company’s name, magazine title of your choice, bold images and color graphics.

How long does it take from start to finish to have my magazine?

3-6 months.

How much time do you need from me?

Ink Publishing does 90% of the work. You get all the credit.

Here’s how we work for you: we do all the layout, design, printing, advertising sales and distribution.

You need to approve the letter we draft to send to your vendors introducing the project, provide a vendor list, review a proof, approve the proof for print. Easy peasy.

How are the magazines distributed?

Many of our medical partners like to personally hand them out to referring physicians as well as distribute them out to patients in their waiting areas. Other partners like to mail them through the US Post Office to their customer list. Don’t have a good mailing list yet? No worries, we’ve got you covered. We can provide a very targeted mailing list perfect for your target market.

How many copies are printed?

Most of our customers require 1000 copies, but some projects require 8,000-10,000 copies. We can customize the project to fit your needs.

How often can I publish my magazine?

We recognize that every partner has unique needs for their communication and marketing programs. So you decide the frequency of your publication and we will build a program around it. With that said, most of our partners publish annual or semi-annual magazines.

What size is the magazine?

Nearly all of our magazines are 8.5” x 11”. However, everything we do is customized for the partners needs. No cooker cutter designs here. So, we can easily build an oversized magazine or even a small square size, if you wish. Special orders don’t upset us.

What kind of paper is used?

Most of our magazines are 80# gloss text weight for content and covers. Some projects include 100# cover weight for the covers that are also UV coated for that extra pop and shine. You can rest assured that all of our paper options are high quality and can be customized for our partners project needs. We will make your brand stand out.

How many vendors do I need to support a free co branded magazine?

The number of vendors it takes to cover all of the cost of the publication depends on several factors (number of issues, number of pages, paper choices, size of advertisement purchased, etc.) but most magazines are fully supported with 8-15 advertisers.

How much does a private label magazine cost?

The cost depends on how many pages, frequency, copies, distribution, who is creating the content, paper choices, and distribution mode. Call us and let’s create an option that fits your budget together.

Do you offer other creative services?

Yes, we do. We offer website development, graphic design, logo design, business card design, brochure design and printing services.
